On August 24th, 2007,
Houston’s chapter of
the Sisters in Crime, The Final Twist, hosted
an event at a local art gallery. We had Godiva Chocolatiers dipping strawberries in chocolate, poured champagne and sparkling wine and listened to a harpist while schmoozing with patrons.  It was quite successful.  The premier copies of the groups anthology, Dead and Breakfast, were introduced and besides
selling books we all had a fun evening.

I spent a delightful couple of days in Boise ID at Murder in the Grove during June 2007.  Here are some of the pictures of me and my fellow authors, who all participated in the event.  This is a very well organized conference and the city of Boise is wonderful, clean, interesting and appealing.  Think about attending next year.

November 15, 2004 - Gayle's Legacy Cooking Class
Thirty five people paid to attend Gayle's cooking class held  at  Draeger's San Mateo store.  This proves the value of simple home cooking to the time pressured populace.  This class was so much fun I'm thinking of doing it again next year.  Watch this website for details.

November 18, 2004 - Radio Interview
Those of you in the Medford, Oregon area on this date might have heard me discussing both books with Leslie Haze on BEAT 93 KTMT FM.  And only a short time later I discussed them with Rosemary (see photo) of the Rosemary and Garth talk show on KCMX AM.  It was lots
of fun.  And hopefully I enticed a few to check out my website.
